Background:
The client had been struggling to locate a married couple to serve them with debt-related documents. The couple had proved very illusive and despite several attempts from other process serving agents, they had not had any success.
Solution:

After a few discreet enquiries, Bascombe International was able to confirm that the couple in question were residing at the same property in Southampton.
On attending the address, a man answered the door and Bascombe’s agent asked if his partner was also in the property. A woman, who correctly matched the identification, came to the door and the agents proceeded to serve her the document.
By this point, the man had gone back into the property, out of sight, to which the agents requested for him to return to the door. Peculiarly, the woman rashly denied that the man was even at the property, before realising her mistake and went to fetch him. The man returned to the door and was duly served also.
